Question of the Week

Q: How do I find "Don't Shoot the Cannons: Maintining The Appearance of Propriety Standard by Margaret McKeown"?

A: If you're searching for this article by title, you'll have a problem because there's a typo in the title. "Canons" is the correct spelling. One way you could have gotten around this is by searching for the author.

In any case, here's the full citation. That should help you find it. You can see by the citation that you need to search Gale's LegalTrac database.

McKeown, M. M. (Spring 2005). Don't shoot the Canons: maintaining the appearance of propriety standard. Journal of Appellate Practice and Process, 7, 1. p.45(14). Retrieved April 01, 2008, from LegalTrac via Gale database.

InfoTrac is now Gale

There has been a change in the library databases. InfoTrac is now called Gale. The content is the same, but the company has changed their branding.

So if you have used InfoTrac in the past, all the great content is still there, just under a different name. If you have not used InfoTrac or Gale before, there are lots of great databases you can explore, like Biography Resource Center, Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center, and the Gale Virtual Reference Library. You can access Gale thorough the library homepage by clicking on the Databases link.

Remember you can always ask the librarians for help!
