Wikis Other Than Wikipedia

Warning: Do not use Wikipedia articles on a research paper. The articles do not follow traditional ways of editing, thus are not accepted in the academic world.

However, reading wiki articles are interesting. Wikipedia articles are generally accurate (not perfect) and OK to read. According to Wikipedia, Neil Armstrong was the first man to step foot on the Moon.

Wikipedia has tens of thousands of entries. I personally enjoy the random article feature on Wikipedia. It is a healthy, educational addiction.

There are specialized wikis on the Internet, too. There are wikis for The Muppets, The Simpsons, and cooking recipes. I am shocked how much info is on Springfield in The Simpsons's wiki.

WikiIndex has a directory of hundreds of specialized wikis on the Internet. Open your mind and explore the many wikis online.
